Men's choir, tracks for Yo Le Canto are up on the resources page! Remember to practice with numbers, then solfege, then words, one chunk at a time. If you have forgotten any of the diction reference the IPA on the back of the cover page as well as your IPA handout with the vowel triangle.
Sopranos and Tenors are bringing food! Remember, only water for beverages.
See you all there at 8:00a!
PS, if you're late then you won't get one of the Breakfast Burritos.
A multitude of practice tracks have been uploaded to the website for your convenience! Ngana has already proved to be a challenge so you will desperately need these tracks please use them to familiarize yourself with the music outside of class. Individual practice to make yourself more confident with your rhythms will be key to the success of this performance.
This Friday will be the first rehearsal with men and women so we need to be comfortable with our music, ladies and gents!
Tracks are accompanied by metronome so please make sure you spend several reps singing your part to numbers (1+2....+4, etc) before getting into words. Tracks are also split up by rehearsal letters (A, B, C, and so on) so please make use of these while rep'ing difficult sections.
